Provenance: From the collection of Jeff and Cindy Swiss, Baltimore, MD, acquired from the artist, Raoul Middleman, work exhibited Kornbluth Gallery, NJ, 1993, framed by Buzz Kusack, Baltimore, MD; work was painted the summer of 1992 during the artist's time at the Art Residency of the Trafford Klots Foundation, the Chateau in the painting, Chateau de Rochefort-en-Terre, was restored by Trafford Klots after he was a liberator of the town in 1945 and later became a resident, the Foundation and Art Residency was created by his widow, Isabel Klots
